Nova gente, novas paisagens, novas aventuras! Tudo de fez novo!

THIS WEEK, I TOOK MY BROTHER IN A MISSIONARY TRIP!

Jonathan, my Chilean colleague who came straight from Chile six months ago, with his family, leaving behing his dear parents and relatives, wanted so much to go with me in one of my trips in the inland of our state of Pará. So, there we went, to Mocajuba, a little town four hours drive from Belém, further than Cametá, where I go twice a year.
We distributed our evangelistic material and Activated magazines, which were well received, containing an edifying message of God’s Word; in fact, the Word for Today! For the Christians of Today! Spiritually feeding millions of people in all the continents o our planet. The people that I knew from previous trip, were happy to see me again; even more accompanied by another missionary brother from another land.
For Jonathan, I believe this was a very good experience, that he’ll want to repeat. New people, new sceneries, new adventures! Everything became new!

Pray for Japan! Orem pelo Japão!

Jesus gives a call to pray for Japan:

Pray desperately for the people of Japan. Many have lost homes and loved ones and employment. Businesses and farmland have been destroyed. Many are searching for their loved ones, and some have nowhere to go for food and clothing and lodging. Pray for those who are helping their fellow citizens through these troubles. Pray desperately for the Japanese.

Pray for the government, the officials who are valiantly trying to do all they can to help their people who are in such dire need. Pray desperately for the scientists and technicians who are working with all of their resources to bring about a speedy, safe solution for the damaged nuclear reactors. Pray for those who are risking their lives by working at the reactor site, trying to get the situation under control. Pray that they are able to bring about full solutions. Pray also against panic, and for peace in hearts and minds.

Pray for Christians of all walks to be stirred to help all they can, and for the people of Japan to be open to My Spirit so that I can give them peace and strength in the midst of this trouble.

Pray for the dear Family members in Japan in the midst of these terrible times, that they may continue to have great faith and courage and love that will empower them to go beyond themselves, to continue in My strength and My love, to fill the hungry in heart as well as the hungry in body.

Pray for yourself as well, that you will keep your connection with Me strong so that you are ready if you too suddenly find yourself being one of My representatives in time of need. You never know when you may unexpectedly find yourself in the midst of some desperate and needy situation. So be ready with your lamp full of fuel to go forth and reach and help those in need.

Let’s all keep the nation of Japan and our Japanese Family in our prayers. Not everyone can help on the ground, but we can all help through our prayers. Some experts have predicted further large earthquakes in Japan; please pray for the Lord to spare the Japanese from any further troubles.
